Due to poor health and it was thought a long sea voyage would be of benefit to Arthur, as was often the thought at the time him, which he undertook in 1874 and died at sea on "Carlisle Castle" on the return voyage from England a few days before the ship arrived in Melbourne. There is a memorial to him on the Woodcock Family grave, North Road Cemetery, South Australia. |
