In the Name of God Amen I John Loten Noone Senior Saddler and Harness Maker of Rayleigh in the County of Essex of sound mind and memory do hereby make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament do first resign my Soul to its Creator humbly hoping for its happiness as in the disposal of a being infinitely good and I give and devise to Elizabeth Hunt my wife after all my funeral expenses and debts are paid all the stock in trade book debts plate goods chattells fixtures and other effects belonging to me now lying in the parish of Rayleigh aforesaid and further the share in the Gravesend Star Steam Packet Company and the remaining share arising from the residue of the Estate and Effects of my late Brother Charles Clark Noone as devised and bequeathed in his last last [sic] Will and Testament And further ?amount of? the money as allowed by the funds of the Rayleigh Tradesmen ?Widow? Society and the funds of the burial Society of Rochford for her said use and benefit untill her decease should Elizabeth Hunt my Wife aforesaid again marry <??? note 1> I therefore further devise and bequeath that her said husband and my following loving and lawful children namely Charles Loten, John Loten, Frederick Joseph, Betsy Ann, Henry Valentine, Alfred Clark, Ann Linggood, Catherine Ellen and Sarah Rand to have equal share and share alike from the proceeds of my business &c as before mentioned and further after the decease of Elizabeth Hunt my wife aforesaid I devise and bequeath that the aforesaid business and effects to be disposed off [sic] to the best advantage and the proceeds arising therefrom to be equally divided share and share alike amongst my surviving children as aforesaid and I make and constitute and appoint Elizabeth Hunt my wife aforesaid my sole Executrix and Charles Loten Noone Harness Maker in the parish of Rayleigh aforesaid and Frederick Joseph Noone Confectioner of Southend in the parish of Prittlewell and John Loten Noone Junr Harness Maker in the parish of Rayleigh aforesaid Trustees of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said John Loten Noone Senior the testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in one sheet of paper have set and put my hand and seal this sixteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six John Loten Noone signed by the said John Loten Noone Senior the Testator in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses - James B??ss Surgeon - William ?Rankin?
Proved at London the 10th July 1846 before the worshipful William Calverley Curteis Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Elizabeth Hunt Noone Widow the Relict the sole Executrix to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
