This is the last Will and Testament of me David Alston of 31 King William Street, London and of Cheyney Kent in the Isle of Sheppey Oyster Merchant made this eighth day of December one thousand eight hundred and forty seven I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Jane her heirs executors and administrators All My Real and Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature and kind soever for her and their own absolute use and benefit I devise unto my said wife her heirs executors administrators and assigns all estates vested in me as a trustee or mortagee subject to and upon the several trusts and equities affecting the same I appoint my said wife the executrix hereof and Guardian of my children during their respective minorities I hereby revoke all other wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this present writing to be my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written David Alston - Signed sealed published and declared by the said David Alston the testator [as] and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who is his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other all being present at the same time have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto - W. Proved at London 14th Octr 1850 before the worshipful Alfred Waddilove Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Jane Alston widow the relict the sole Executrix to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
