THE GILLAM FAMILY OF CROYDON AND BRIGHTONChapter 8 |
GILLAM Family ConjectureCharles's parents were William GILLAM, shoemaker, born about 1782 in Brighton, and Mary. The St Nicholas, Brighton baptism registers suggest that William and Mary may have had the following children:
All known, real and conjectured, descendants of William
& Mary can be found on the GILLAM family chart. William (supposed father of Charles) might be the child of William Gillam and Fanny Tubbs who married in 1774 at St. Nicholas, Brighton (from LDS film) (NB: IGI confirms the film - William married Fanny Tubbs on 23rd January 1774 at St Nicholas, Brighton).
